ERTi-2 is the most popular of the commercial pure grades because of its good balance of strength, formability and weldability.
ERTi-2 provides good resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical reagents.
It’s high strength to weight ratio have made it a popular alloy in the aircraft industry.
Sporting goods (golf clubs), high performance bicycles, competition motor-sports equipment and marine applications are now major usage categories.
Tensile strength: 50,000 psi.
Elongation is 20%.
