Robust Bowl and Vessel Steady Rests for Wood Lathes

Robust steady rests are available in eight different sizes to fit wood lathes from 12″ to 25″ swing (diameter). 

Our steady rests are constructed from a heavy duty rolled angle iron ring welded to a rigid machined base.  The arms are made from precision laser cut steel.  They are professionally powder coated black.  The wheels are quality non-marking polyurethane with ABEC 7 bearings.

All hardware is included.  The tenon is adjustable to fit your lathe bed and there is a universal hold-down.  The high quality locking levers are the same ones we use on our lathes.

The arms are positional anywhere you want in 10° increments.  Each steady rest is shipped with three arms, and extra arms can be purchased if you want additional support.
